Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies results. South Hill People Search does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them only to answer the message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may contain an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps maintain the service and show which South Hill reference pages visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited data described above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Pierce County offices, Washington portals, library collections, and third-party search tools. Information submitted on an outside site is controlled by that site's privacy policy, not this one. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results, which come from a third-party company.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive automatically collected data. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, visitor data is not shared.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are kept only as long as the purposes described above require. Because there are no visitor accounts, South Hill People Search holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor appears to have submitted personal information, and we will remove it.
Your Data Rights
Privacy rights vary with the person, data, and law involved. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, provides consent and deletion rights for consumer health data within its scope; it is not a general right to erase lawful public records. Because we retain very little, a request will usually involve checking contact mail and server logs for removable information. Submit it through the Contact page. Records held by Pierce County or Washington agencies remain under the custodian's control, so correction or removal requests must go to that office.
